The Alabama Cooperative Extension System has a lot to offer residents of Alabama. Currently, Alabama Extension is gearing up to offer a free Natural Resources Webinar Series this spring and summer, giving landowners, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members across the state a chance to learn more about Alabama’s forests, wildlife, and native plant life.
The series will feature Extension specialists and partner experts who will cover a range of timely topics, including forest roads, black bears, and native plants. Organizers say the goal is to provide practical, science-based information that helps participants better understand and care for Alabama’s natural resources.
All webinars will be held online through Zoom, making them accessible to participants from home or the field. The sessions are offered at no cost.
The program is hosted by the organization, which works to deliver research-based educational programs to residents across the state.

Extension officials encourage early registration as interest in natural resources programming continues to grow, particularly among private landowners and outdoor recreation users.
