The AHSAA’s Super 7 Football Championships roll on at Birmingham’s Protective Stadium, with a full slate of title matchups scheduled through Friday as Alabama crowns its 2025 state champions.
Television coverage is available statewide through the AHSAA TV Network on Alabama Public Television, with live streaming provided on the NFHS Network’s subscription platform. WOTM TV’s Vince Earley is serving as executive producer for this year’s broadcasts.
Thursday’s Championship Lineup
Three boys’ finals highlight Thursday’s schedule:
Class 3A (11 a.m.) – Defending champion Mars Hill Bible (14-0) (1st logo below) meets Bayside Academy (13-1) in what is expected to be a tightly contested showdown.
Class 1A (3 p.m.) – Maplesville (14-0) (1st Logo below) and Wadley (13-0) face off in a rematch of last year’s championship game, with both teams once again entering undefeated.
Class 5A (7 p.m.) – Moody (12-2) (1st Logo below) and Vigor (12-2) battle under the lights to close out the day.
Friday’s Championship Schedule
The final day of the Super 7 features three more title games:
Class 4A (11 a.m.) – Defending champion Jackson (12-2) looks to repeat against undefeated Anniston (14-0 (Anniston is the 1st Logo below)).
Class 2A (3 p.m.) – Lanett (12-2) squares off with Coosa Christian (12-2) with both teams seeking to cap strong playoff runs.
Class 6A (7 p.m.) – The week concludes with one of the most anticipated matchups: undefeated Saraland (13-0) (1st logo below) versus unbeaten Clay-Chalkville (14-0) in a clash of 6A heavyweights.

Wednesday’s Results
The Super 7 opened Wednesday with girls’ flag football championships and the Class 7A boys’ final:
1A/5A Girls’ Flag – Moody (22-3) 27, Montgomery Catholic (21-5) 18
6A/7A Girls’ Flag – Central-Phenix City (20-0) 46, Vestavia Hills (28-2) 7
Class 7A Boys’ Final – Thompson (10-3) met Opelika (10-3) at 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
The Super 7 Championships continue through Friday as teams from across Alabama compete for the ultimate prize in high school football.
