OZARK—The Ozark Police Department Animal Shelter and Southern Dog Mission are teaming up to host an “Animal Days” Adoption Event on Saturday, May 30, at Tractor Supply in Ozark.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Tractor Supply, located at 1177 Andrews Avenue in Ozark.
According to the event flyer, community members will have the opportunity to meet and adopt a variety of animals, including dogs, puppies, and cats currently in need of homes. Organizers are encouraging potential adopters to become pre-approved ahead of time by scanning the QR code featured on the promotional flyer.
Southern Dog Mission is a nonprofit animal rescue organization that works to save homeless and abandoned animals across the Wiregrass region and beyond. The organization partners with local shelters and volunteers to help provide medical care, foster placement, transportation, and adoption opportunities for animals in need. Southern Dog Mission frequently assists overcrowded shelters by helping relocate animals to rescue networks and adoptive families.

The adoption event is part of ongoing efforts by local animal rescue advocates and the Ozark Police Department Animal Shelter to help place animals into loving homes while raising awareness about pet adoption within the community.
