Area Community Colleges to Close Tuesday, September 23 for State Meeting

Area community colleges will close and on-campus classes will be canceled on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Alabama Community College System (ACCS) will hold a regional meeting on that day, and faculty and staff from area community colleges will not be on campus during that time.
Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) will be closed on Tuesday, September 23, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to allow faculty and staff to attend the ACCS regional meeting. This includes the Dothan campus and the Sparks campus in Eufaula.
Daytime in-person classes will not be held on Tuesday, September 23, according to an announcement from Wallace Community College.
Evening classes on the Wallace Campus in Dothan beginning at 4:00 PM or later will proceed as scheduled.
Evening classes on the Sparks Campus in Eufaula beginning at 5:45 PM or later will proceed as scheduled.
*ONLINE CLASSES WILL NOT BE AFFECTED.
The College will resume normal operations on both campuses at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, September 24.
Enterprise State Community College’s Enterprise Campus and the Ozark Aviation Campus will also be closed. Specific information about evening classes at ESCC and the Ozark Aviation Campus is not available at this time; however, we will provide an update when that information is available.
LBW Community College will also cancel in-person classes that day.
**Students are encouraged to reach out to the professor to confirm their schedule for Tuesday September 23.
