Teams from all over the area, including the following schools: Carroll High, Dale County High, Ariton High, and G.W. Long, traveled to Mobile today to compete in the Alabama High School Athletics Association South Super Regional Cheer Competition.
Cheer squads from all over South Alabama are in Mobile today as they compete in the Regional Cheer Competition. Over 120 cheer squads will compete for a spot at the State Cheer Finals, to be held in December 2025, at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, AL.
According to an announcement from the AHSAA, “Each squad will follow the same format during today’s competition: Traditional Routine performance to music. The Game Day is a combination of band chant, a situational sideline cue from the announcer, the crowd leading section, and ending with the team fight song.”
