The Ariton Lady Cats turned in a dominant performance on the hardwood, cruising to a 67-32 victory over Emmanuel Christian in girls’ basketball action on Tuesday, December 16.
Ariton set the tone early with aggressive defense and balanced scoring, pulling away as the game progressed. Brynlee Peters led the way with a strong all-around effort, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals to pace the Lady Cats on both ends of the floor.
The offensive load was shared throughout the lineup, as Nevaeh Williams, Madolyn Hudson, and Macileigh Bragg each scored 10 points. Lizzy Woodfaulk added eight points, while Ayari McCloud chipped in seven. Ely Knight contributed five points, and Kam Kilpatrick rounded out the scoring with three.
With the win, the Lady Cats showcased their depth and defensive intensity, dominating the court while limiting Emmanuel Christian’s scoring opportunities and maintaining steady offensive pressure throughout the game.
