Ariton Junior High Boys Basketball continue undefeated streak after dominant win over G.W. Long

Ariton—The Ariton Junior High boys basketball team continued its impressive season Monday night, defeating G.W. Long 38–11 to remain undefeated at 6–0.
Ariton’s offense was led by Chris Woodfaulk, who posted 10 points and 5 assists, while Wilson Collier added 9 points and 7 assists. Colton Grantham contributed another 6 points to the Purple Cats’ commanding performance.
On the other side, Jax Bullock led G.W. Long with 4 points, but the Rebels struggled to find momentum against Ariton’s strong defense and fast-paced attack.
The Dale County Chronicle spoke with Ariton Coach Brett Goodwin after their win, and he praised the team while also looking forward to their next game. Goodwin said, “Our defense & selflessness has been the biggest ingredient for success, and it will take a lot more of that to beat a good South Dale team tomorrow night!”
With the win, the Purple Cats continue their hot streak as they prepare to travel to South Dale Middle School for their next matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. tomorrow.
