ARITON — The Ariton Junior High Boys basketball team continued their undefeated streak Tuesday night, improving to 9-0 with a decisive 38-16 victory over Providence Christian.
The Purple Cats’ defense set the tone early, holding Providence to just a handful of points in each quarter while controlling the pace of the game from start to finish.
Wilson Collier led the charge for Ariton, turning in an outstanding performance with 20 points and 11 steals, showcasing his ability to make plays on both ends of the court.
With the win, Ariton remains the team to beat in junior high basketball. Their performance showcases strong teamwork and unstoppable energy as they look to keep their unbeaten record intact heading into the next matchup.
