The Ariton Lady Cats put together a strong all-around performance Tuesday night, earning a 55–46 road victory over the Dale County Lady Warriors behind a dominant outing from AC Free and steady contributions across the roster.
Free-throw Ariton on both ends of the floor, delivering a game-high 25 points while controlling the boards with 13 rebounds. Her presence in the paint set the tone early and helped the Lady Cats maintain momentum throughout the matchup.
Macleigh Bragg added an efficient 12 points and 5 rebounds, giving Ariton another reliable scoring option. Madolyn Hudson battled inside for 6 points and pulled down 9 rebounds, providing key second-chance opportunities in tight stretches of the game.
Ayari McCloud chipped in 6 points, while Lizzy Woodfaulk added 5. Natalie Beltran contributed 1 point and hauled in 4 rebounds to round out a balanced team effort.
The Dale County Warriors kept the game within reach, refusing to give up, but they couldn’t overcome Ariton’s control of the glass and timely scoring down the stretch. The win marks another strong showing for the Lady Cats as they continue to build momentum this season. Dale County now looks to regroup as they prepare to take on the Wicksburg Panthers on Thursday, 12/11, in a home game in Midland City. Ariton will take on Geneva tonight, 12/9, on the road.
