A strong defensive effort and balanced scoring helped lift the Ariton boys’ varsity basketball team to a 56–36 victory over Goshen on Tuesday night.
Ariton spread the offensive production across several players. Bryson Rhett led the team with 13 points, while Addison Senn and Cooper Murphy each added 10. Easton Kilpatrick played a key all-around role, recording an impressive double-double with 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Goshen was led by Markel Toles, who matched Rhett with 13 points of his own, while JT Beck contributed 8.
Ariton’s win marks another solid performance as the team continues to find its rhythm early in the season.
