The Ariton Town Council has announced a special-called meeting to address town business.
The meeting, which will be held at Town Hall, is scheduled for Monday, June 30, at 6:00 pm. The public is always invited to attend. Town Hall is located at 6 Atlantic Street.
During the most recent meeting of the Ariton Town Hall, council members discussed drainage repairs and community improvement ideas, though no action was taken at the time.
The town also announced on Thursday that garbage pickup would be delayed. The town hopes all delayed garbage will be picked up by Friday.
