The Claybank Master Gardeners, in partnership with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, will host a Lunch and Learn program focused on growing and using herbs at home on Tuesday, May 27, in Ozark.
The program, titled “Herbs at Home,” will be presented by Dee Gilbert and is designed to provide attendees with practical information about cultivating herbs and incorporating them into everyday life. Samples will also be available during the event.
The Lunch and Learn will begin at noon at the Dale County Extension Office, located at 202 S. Highway 123 in Ozark.
Organizers encourage community members to bring their lunch and participate in the educational session. The event is free and open to the public, and bottled water will be provided.
The Claybank Master Gardeners are part of the Alabama Master Gardeners program through the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, a partnership between Auburn University and Alabama A&M University. The program promotes gardening education and community outreach through research-based horticultural practices.
