CLAYHATCHEE—Residents are encouraged to attend a public grant hearing scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today at the Clayhatchee Town Hall.
Mayor Guice is urging community members to participate, saying public attendance can help demonstrate local support as the town seeks grant funding for future projects.
“If you want to help your town get grants, you must show up,” Mayor Guice said in announcing the meeting.
Grant hearings often provide residents with an opportunity to learn about proposed projects, offer input, and show community support for funding applications. Public participation can play an important role in demonstrating local interest when municipalities apply for certain state and federal grants.
Mayor Guice said he hopes to see residents at tonight’s hearing as the town continues pursuing funding opportunities that could benefit the Clayhatchee community.
The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Clayhatchee Town Hall.
