OZARK—A Community Mental Health Forum aimed at helping residents navigate ongoing stress and uncertainty is scheduled for tonight at the Ozark-Dale County Library.
The forum, hosted by the Ozark Counseling Center and the Roberta Rose Community Support Organization, is set for 7 to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The library is located at 296 N. Union Ave., Ozark (in the Piggly Wiggly Shopping Center).
Organizers say the event is intended to create an open conversation about mental health challenges that many individuals and families are currently facing, including stress tied to global conflict, high-profile public legal cases, and the rising cost of living.
Rather than a formal lecture, the forum will feature a discussion-based format. Local leaders and clergy have been invited to participate in conversations focused on resilience, community support, and ways residents can better support one another during difficult times.
Organizers emphasized that mental health is not solely an individual concern, but also a community issue that requires shared attention and support.
Residents across Dale County are encouraged to attend.
