Community Spirit Shines During Busy Time for Carroll High as School Hosts Events, Honors Student and Faculty Achievements, and Prepares for Jingle Run

Ozark residents are lacing up for a festive morning of fitness and community spirit as the annual Jingle Run returns this Saturday, December 13, to benefit the ONE Eagle Foundation, the nonprofit dedicated to supporting the strategic goals of Ozark City Schools.
The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages, with proceeds going directly toward enriching the educational experience for students and staff. Funds raised help provide classroom resources, scholarships, and teacher recognition programs—initiatives that the foundation says make a meaningful impact throughout the school system.
Organizers emphasize the belief that #OzarkNeedsEveryone, encouraging individuals, families, and local businesses to take part in the holiday-themed run. Participants may choose between a 5K race ($35) or a 1-mile fun run ($20). On-site registration opens at 7:00 a.m. at Carroll High School, with the race beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Renfro Named Teacher of the Month
Carroll High proudly recognized Nathan Renfro as Teacher of the Month, applauding his dedication to students and his ongoing commitment to excellence inside and outside the classroom.
Annual Christmas Bazaar Brings Festive Fun
The school held its annual Christmas Bazaar on Friday, transforming campus spaces into a holiday marketplace. Students, clubs, and school organizations sold a variety of handmade gifts, treats, and crafts. Proceeds from the event go toward supporting club activities, classroom needs, and other charitable causes, making the bazaar a valued Carroll High tradition.
Six Students Inducted into National Honor Society
The Carroll High School National Honor Society welcomed six new members during a ceremony held on Friday, December 5.
NHS Sponsor Mrs. Nikevia Davis expressed her pride, saying, “We had 6 new inductees to the National Honor Society… Thank you for including them on your news site. They are wonderful students who deserve the spotlight.”

CHS Talent Show Slated for December 11
The CHS Yearbook Staff is gearing up for a Talent Show on Thursday, December 11, at 1:30 p.m. The event is open to the public, with wristbands available during lunch and on the morning of the show. Special guests Lex&Friends and Mz. Sassy will join the lineup, promising an entertaining showcase for students and families.
Education & Training Students Get Hands-On Experience
Students in Mrs. Wise’s Education & Training class recently spent the day job shadowing their favorite teachers and staff members. From classroom instruction to behind-the-scenes administrative work, students had the opportunity to learn firsthand what it takes to keep a school running smoothly. The experience offered valuable insight for those considering a future in education.
With celebrations, service, and student success on full display, Carroll High School continues to demonstrate the strong sense of community and leadership that defines Eagle Nation—just in time for the holiday season.
