The Dale County Commission will meet Tuesday, Aug. 25, for its regular session, with commissioners beginning the morning with an Administrative Session focused on reviewing the proposed FY2027 county budget.
The Administrative Session is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and will allow commissioners to review and discuss the proposed budget before moving on to the commission’s regular business.
After a call to order, the Commission will open the floor to comments from citizens and other elected officials/County employees.
New business items include personnel and travel matters, the FY2027 County Transportation Plan, county levies for new ABC license types, an inmate communication agreement, a letter of support for the Dale County Pageant Committee, and an Alabama Department of Youth Services grant.
The commission will also hear reports from staff, discuss old business, and address any public hearings or other matters brought before the commission.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 8. The meetings are held in Commission Chambers located in the County Government Building Ag-Plex, located at 202 South AL-123, Ozark, AL.
