The Daleville Warhawks picked up a solid road victory Tuesday night, defeating county rivals G.W. Long, 55–44, behind a strong offensive performance and steady defensive pressure.
Daleville’s momentum was fueled by standout guard MJ Flowers, who scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed six rebounds, helping the Warhawks control the pace from start to finish. Ja’veon McLeod also made a key impact, adding nine points and three steals as Daleville’s defense created problems for the Rebels throughout the night.
The Warhawks maintained consistent energy on both ends of the floor, pulling away in the second half to secure the double-digit win. The victory adds another boost to Daleville’s early-season rhythm as they continue to build momentum.
The Rebels will look to regroup and prepare to take on Northside Methodist Academy tonight. Daleville returns to action next week as the Warhawks look to keep the winning streak going against Brantley on Dec. 16.
