DALEVILLE — Daleville City Schools recently announced several upcoming events affecting students at both Daleville High School and Daleville Middle School, including ACT testing, senior cap and gown photos, and a career exploration event for middle school students.
At Daleville High School, students in the 10th and 11th grades will participate in ACT testing on Tuesday, March 10. School officials encouraged students to prepare by getting a good night’s sleep, eating breakfast, and arriving at school on time.
According to the announcement, students who complete testing may check out early with a signed permission form from a parent or guardian.
On the same day, students in the ninth and 12th grades will complete assignments virtually and will not be required to attend school in person.
Meanwhile, seniors at Daleville High School will take part in their cap and gown photographs on Monday, March 9. The photo session will allow members of the Class of 2026 to capture a traditional milestone as they approach graduation later this spring.
Daleville Middle School will also host a special career exploration event later in the week. The school’s “Careers on Wheels” program is scheduled for Friday, March 13, and organizers are currently seeking vendors to participate.
The event is designed to introduce students to a variety of career paths by bringing professionals and businesses to campus to showcase their work and equipment.
School officials said the event will allow students to explore potential career opportunities and learn about different professions through hands-on interaction.

School officials said the upcoming activities are part of ongoing efforts to support academic achievement, celebrate graduating seniors, and provide students with opportunities to explore future career possibilities.
Additionally, the Daleville High School FFA group would like to inform everyone who purchased strawberries from their fundraiser that the fruit will be delivered to Daleville High School on Monday, March 9, at 11:00 a.m.
