Two local school boards will hold meetings on Thursday, June 25, with a variety of educational, personnel, and operational matters scheduled for discussion.
The Daleville City Board of Education will conduct its regular board meeting at 4:30 p.m.
The agenda includes approval of the agenda, previous meeting minutes and bills, a financial report, bank reconciliation, and the superintendent’s report.
Board members are also expected to consider several policy and planning items, including approval of the 2026-2027 Student Handbook, the 2026-2027 Athletic Handbook, a social media policy, an academic plan, and a volunteer plan.
Additional agenda items include personnel actions, security purchases, contracts, and a discussion of a legislative raise. The board will also hear a request to appear from Frank Sanders before scheduling its next meeting and adjourning.
Meanwhile, the Ozark City Board of Education has scheduled a special-called board meeting for 5 p.m. at the Student Support Center, located at 860 U.S. Highway 231 North in Ozark.
According to the meeting notice, the purpose of the special-called meeting is personnel matters.
Both meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and stay informed about decisions affecting local schools and students.
