WIREGRASS—Law enforcement agencies across the Wiregrass are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two individuals who remain missing in separate cases.
The Enterprise Police Department is searching for Dakota Rilee Evans, who has not been seen since Saturday afternoon.
According to police, Dakota told her grandmother she was going for a walk at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1. Investigators said she later called her father while at the Enterprise Verizon Wireless store, but she has not been seen or heard from since.
Authorities said Dakota was last seen on Smith Drive in Enterprise wearing a dark blue denim dress, brown boots, and a red hat.
Meanwhile, the Brundidge Police Department continues to seek information on the whereabouts of Rickey Riccardo Wheeler, a 66-year-old Black man who has been missing for nearly a month.
According to investigators, Wheeler was last seen at approximately 7 p.m. on July 3 in the area of Martin Luther King Drive in Brundidge. Police said he is believed to be living with a condition that may impair his judgment, increasing concerns for his safety.
Wheeler is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
The Brundidge Police Department lists the case as active under Case No. 26-07-013, which was issued on July 10, 2026.

Anyone with information about Rickey Riccardo Wheeler is urged to contact the Brundidge Police Department at (334) 735-3333 or call 911.
