First United Methodist Church of Ozark has announced that registration is now open for its upcoming Basketball and Cheer Camp, a four-week program designed for boys and girls ages 5 through 12.
If interested, you must be sure to sign your children up during the registration period. Registration for the camp is held on specific nights only: on Sept. 29 & 30 and on Oct. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Family Life Center Gym. The cost of the camp is $25 per child.
The camp will focus on skill development, teamwork, and fun while giving local children a chance to stay active and make new friends.
Basketball sessions will be held on Thursdays (October 30, November 6, 13, and 20) at 6 p.m. Cheer sessions will take place on Mondays (Oct. 27, Nov. 3, 10, and 17) at 6 p.m. Both will be held at the church’s Family Life Center Gym.
The program will conclude with a pizza party celebration on Thursday, December 4, where participants will receive a camp T-shirt and a goodie bag.
Camp organizers encourage families to take advantage of the opportunity for their children to learn basketball and cheer all while having loads of fun.
