It’s that time again. As area high schools prepare for their big games tonight, here is a brief preview.
Tonight, the Carroll High School Eagles (0-6) will face off against Montgomery Catholic (2-3). The CHS Eagles hope to change their trajectory by working to gain their first win of the season. Kickoff is at 7 at Matthews Stadium. Also, the Carroll High School band will compete in the Claybank Jamboree / Andalusia band competition.
Meanwhile, the Daleville High School Warhawks (2-4) will face off against the Pike County Bulldogs (2-3) at Warhawk Stadium with a kickoff at 7 p.m.

Also, the Daleville Band will be featured on Saturday, October 11th. This is a fundraiser for Daleville City Schools’ award-winning band program, and if you enjoy watching marching bands, this is an event for you. Food and more will be available!
The Ariton High School Purple Cats (4-0) will take on Providence Christian (4-1) at Zumstein with a kickoff at 7 p.m.
Long High School Rebels (2-3) will take on the Abbeville Yellowjackets (2-4) at Long High School. Kickoff is at 7pm.
Dale County High doesn’t have a game tonight since they played Opp last night. The DCHS Warriors defeated Opp in a stunning victory, after a comeback later in the game.
