The Friends of the Ozark-Dale County Library (FOL) are gearing up for their 6th Annual Santa’s Workshop, set for Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and organizers are putting out a call for community volunteers and donations to help make this event a success and extra special.
Held at the Ozark-Dale County Library, located at 296 N Union Avenue, Santa’s Workshop has grown into a popular holiday tradition, offering families a festive start to the Christmas season while supporting programs at the library. This year’s event will once again feature gift wrapping, games, a dollar shop, and activities for children. Pizza lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
FOL organizers are seeking a variety of donations, including items suitable for babies, kids, and adults for their $1 shop. Contributions of snack cakes, cupcakes, and cookies are also being requested. In addition, local businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor gift baskets valued at around $20 for the event’s raffle. Suggested basket themes include car care kits, family movie night bundles, and other fun local favorites.
Raffle baskets will be offered with tickets costing only $0.50 each, and proceeds will go to support library programs.
