G.W. Long is celebrating several of its student-athletes for earning top honors in soccer. Recently, the school honored its student-athletes for their standout performances on the soccer field after earning Alabama High School Soccer Coaches Association All-State honors for the 2026 season.
The Lady Rebels placed two players on the Class 1A-3A Second Team All-State squad, while four additional players received honorable mention recognition. The Rebels boys’ team also had six players named honorable mention selections.
Leading the way for the girls’ team were senior midfielder Bea Anderson and junior centerback Kaitlyn Culverhouse, who were both named Class 1A-3A Second Team All-State selections.
The Lady Rebels also earned strong representation on the honorable mention list with junior midfielders Gracie Davis and Esther Rosales, sophomore forward Bella Rhodehouse, and junior forward Jordan Jacobs all receiving recognition for their contributions during the season.
On the boys’ side, junior fullback Cole Andrews, senior centerback Dustin Beverett, junior midfielder Mason Foote, junior forward Connor Baker, senior forward Nate McLean, and sophomore goalkeeper Mason Burkett were all named All-State honorable mention selections.
The honors recognize players from across Alabama who demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and impact throughout the high school soccer season.
The All-State recognition ends another successful year on a high note for the G.W. Long soccer programs and highlights the strong talent nurtured in Skipperville’s star soccer program.
