Geneva County Panthers defeated the Daleville Warhawks, 35-34.
At the start of the fourth quarter, Daleville trailed behind Geneva County, 35-28. Daleville never gave up in Friday night’s showdown with the Panthers, and the Warhawks nearly succeeded in a final quarter comeback, scoring a touchdown and extra point with five minutes remaining, which brought Daleville within one point of tying the game. The Panthers held firm, though, blocking the Warhawks and managing to hold them off to secure the win, 35-34.
