DALEVILLE—The Daleville High School agriculture department will kick off its annual spring plant sale on March 30, offering a wide variety of vegetables and flowering plants to the community at affordable prices.
The sale will feature plants sold primarily in six-packs, including tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant, priced at $3 per pack. For those looking to purchase in larger quantities, full flats containing 36 plants will be available for $15.
In addition to the six-pack options, several individual plants will be offered. Squash, cucumber, and watermelon plants will be available for $1 each, while camellias will be sold for $2 each.
A wide selection of plant varieties will be included in the sale. Tomato options will feature popular choices such as Atkinson, Bella Rosa, Better Boy, Beefsteak, Celebrity, Rutgers, Roma, and Small Cherry. Pepper varieties will include California Wonder Bell, jalapeño, cayenne, and sweet banana.
Shoppers can also find squash varieties such as yellow straightneck, yellow crookneck, and zucchini, along with pickling cucumbers and Black Beauty eggplant. Watermelon selections will include Crimson Sweet, Georgia Rattlesnake, and Moon & Stars.

The annual plant sale provides an opportunity for residents to prepare their spring gardens while supporting local students in the school’s agriculture program.
