As the 25th Annual Regional Art Exhibit draws to a close, the Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities is preparing to accept entries into the “Inspired by Creation” exhibit.
The exhibit will be judged, and $700 in cash prizes will be awarded. Artists 18 and older are eligible to enter three original works of art or photography into the judged exhibit. Your art can include paintings, drawings, mixed media, collages, sculptures, photography, and more.
Interested artists can submit their artwork from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., October 10 and 11. To register, you can download the form online at ruddartcenter.org or stop by in person at the Dowling Museum/Ann Rudd Art Center, Wednesday-Saturday from 11:00-3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, you can call them at (334) 445-6526.
The opening reception for “Inspired by Creation” is Sunday, October 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The exhibit will run from October 18-November 21, 2025.
