Landmark Park has canceled its annual Victorian Christmas celebration after severe weather left the grounds too unsafe for visitors, volunteers, and staff, the park says. Heavy rainfall over the past several days created hazardous walking conditions throughout the park, prompting officials to call off the event.
Park staff described the decision as difficult but necessary to ensure public safety. The popular holiday tradition, known for its historical demonstrations, festive music, and family-friendly atmosphere, will not be rescheduled this year.
“We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support,” Landmark Park staff said in their announcement. “We hope to welcome visitors back for future events under better conditions.”
The park encourages the community to stay safe during the ongoing wet weather and looks forward to hosting upcoming programs once weather conditions improve.
