OZARK — Mission: Worthy will host a grocery distribution event Monday, Feb. 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., or until supplies run out, at Eastgate Business Park in Ozark.
The distribution will take place at 406 Ben St., inside the building with the double doors. Organizers noted that an ID is required for pickup.
“We’ll be distributing groceries on Monday, the 16th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (or until we run out),” the organization shared in a social media announcement.
In addition to groceries, Mission: Worthy currently offers a variety of baby formulas to families in need.
The nonprofit is also seeking donations to support the effort. Donation drop-offs will be accepted at the same location on Monday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
“If you’d like to donate groceries or items, you may drop them off at the same location,” the organization stated. “If you need to donate outside these times, please message us, we’ll make sure someone is there to receive your donation and ensure it goes directly to a family in need.”
Beginning Friday, Feb. 20, Mission: Worthy will also offer additional “Birthday Boxes,” which include items to help families celebrate special occasions. Each box contains cake mix, frosting, balloons, and other surprises designed to make a child’s birthday memorable.
