Coffee County — Multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots on County Road 721 in Enterprise prompted a significant law enforcement response Saturday evening, according to emergency dispatch communications monitored by the Dale County Chronicle.
During radio traffic, a responding officer requested assistance from multiple agencies, including the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and Alabama State Troopers, as authorities worked to assess the situation.
At this time, there are unconfirmed reports that one male subject may have been shot. During dispatch communications, a dispatcher advised responding officers, “Be advised we do have a possible male subject that has been shot and is now bleeding.”
The extent of the victim’s injuries and the circumstances surrounding the reported shooting have not been officially confirmed. Authorities have not released any information regarding a suspect or whether any arrests have been made.
Emergency personnel and law enforcement agencies remain on the scene as the investigation continues.
