Calling all Jimmy Buffett fans and all-around theatre lovers: The Flowers Center for the Performing Arts continues its celebration of local talent with its showing of Son of a Son of a Sailor: the Story of Jimmy Buffett’s Journey from Nashville to Key West. The original production opened Friday, November 14 and will close after the Saturday, November 15 performance. 

“We’re so fortunate to have such talented former students return to contribute original productions and keep the arts thriving in our community,” veteran director Margie Benson noted in an announcement.

Tickets are $15 each (Cash or check only). You can also text 334-714-3367 or email [email protected] to reserve your tickets.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 6:00 at the door. (Cash or check only). Doors will open to the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The Flowers Center is located at 312 E College Street, Ozark, AL 36360.
The Flowers Center is also preparing for a special event presented by the Dale County Performing Arts Council, “Patty Sings Patsy” in which Patty Mosley Nelson sings favorites from Patsy Cline and some favorite tunes from Broadway on December 6 at 7:00 p.m. Stay tuned for more details about shows at Flowers Center for the Performing Arts.
