The City of Ozark has kicked off its annual Operation Santa Claus campaign, partnering with Dale County Department of Human Resources to help ensure foster children across the county experience a joyful and memorable Christmas.
The toy drive accepts new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0–14, and DHR will then distribute them to help children in need have an extra special holiday.
Donations can be dropped off at any of the city’s three fire stations:
Station 3: 100 Mixon School Road
Chancey Station: 202 Will Logan Road
Dowling Station: 382 N. Union Avenue
Monetary contributions are also being accepted through the City of Ozark’s Administrative Department.
Organizers emphasized that no gift is too small and that every toy and donation helps brighten the holidays for children in foster care. The deadline to donate is December 9.
“Ozark always steps up,” the city shared. “Together, we can make Christmas magical for the children who deserve it most.”
