Residents across Ozark and the Wiregrass can expect our brief relief from the soaring 90-95°+ temperatures to evaporate like the rain that has fallen over the last week as we move closer to the weekend.
Residents can expect a mix of sunshine, heat, and scattered chances of rain throughout the upcoming week, but temperatures are expected to remain below 90°F until Friday. Temperatures will remain seasonably warm, with highs climbing into the lower to mid-90s by the weekend and early next week. Rain chances increase late in the week, with the greatest likelihood of showers and thunderstorms arriving Thursday and Friday.

Outlook.
After a brief period of increased rain chances Thursday and Friday, the Wiregrass is expected to return to a hotter and more typical late-July pattern over the weekend. High temperatures will steadily rise from the upper 80s into the mid-90s by Monday, while overnight lows remain in the upper 60s to mid-70s. Residents spending time outdoors should stay hydrated, wear broad-spectrum sunscreen, and monitor the forecast for any developing thunderstorms later in the week.
