The Ozark Book Club will feature an extra special guest at today’s meeting. The club will welcome New York Times bestselling author Terah Shelton Harris to its monthly meeting, set for Tuesday, May 26, at Loose Brick Coffee Co. in Downtown Ozark.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will feature a discussion centered on Harris’ latest novel, Where the Wildflowers Grow, which was selected as the club’s featured read for the month.
According to the book club, Harris is known for her emotionally driven Southern fiction and is the author of the bestselling novels Long After We Are Gone and One Summer in Savannah. Her newest novel explores themes of family, identity, forgiveness, and generational connections, earning praise from readers for its emotional depth and vivid storytelling.
Community members are invited to attend the event, meet the author, and participate in the evening discussion. Copies of Harris’ books will also be available for purchase and signing. Paperback editions will be sold for $15, while hardback copies will be available for $20. Book club leaders say cash is preferred, though checks will also be accepted.
Founded in 2020, the Ozark Book Club has grown into a community gathering focused on literature, conversation, and fellowship among local readers. The club is open to anyone who wishes to join.
