OZARK — Ozark City Schools (OCS) Board of Education has announced the schedule for public interviews with the five finalists seeking to become the district’s next Superintendent.
The interviews follow a special-called meeting of the, during which Dr. Tim Morgan, a consultant with the, provided an update on the superintendent search and announced the finalists selected to move forward in the process.
Community members will have an opportunity to observe the candidates during scheduled interview sessions set to take place at the choral room, located at 141 Eagle Way in Ozark. However, the public will not be permitted to speak since these will be formal interviews conducted by the OCS Board of Education.
The interview schedule is as follows:
- Monday, March 9, 5:30 p.m.: Dr. Veronica Bayles
- Tuesday, March 10, 5:30 p.m.: Dr. Curt Green
- Monday, March 16, 5:30 p.m.: J. Lee Jacobs
- Tuesday, March 17, 5:30 p.m.: Jeremy Suchman
- Wednesday, March 18, 5:30 p.m.: Marsielena Redding Williams
District officials say the interview sessions are part of the process to identify the next leader of Ozark City Schools. The Alabama Association of School Boards has assisted the district with the search, including reviewing applications and helping guide the selection process.
School leaders encourage community members to attend the sessions as the district moves closer to selecting its next superintendent. Additional details about the candidates and the timeline for a final decision are expected as the interview process continues.
