OZARK—The Ozark City Schools Board of Education will convene for a special-called meeting on Tuesday, April 22, at 5 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Ozark City Schools Central Office, located at 860 U.S. Highway 231 North in Ozark. According to the official notice, the meeting is open to the public.
The agenda for the special-called session includes consideration of contract approvals for personnel.
Special-called meetings are typically scheduled to address specific matters that require timely action outside of the board’s regular meeting schedule. The board recently announced it was conducting contract negotiations with Carroll High School Principal Marsielena Williams, whom the board has chosen to fill the soon-to-be vacant position of superintendent. It is quite possible that this board meeting will cover those contract negotiations, though that has not been announced.
