Ozark Police and Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a physical assault at the Hobo Pantry convenience store located at 1022 South Highway 231, Ozark.
Officials confirm an alleged assault occurred around noon, and authorities say the suspect had fled the scene.
According to Ozark Fire and Rescue, paramedics and emergency medical services personnel evaluated the victim. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries, and no one was transported to the hospital.
The Dale County Chronicle was on scene to inquire about the incident, but details about the suspect’s physical description is not yet available.
