The familiar green 4-H Clovers are popping up once again at Tractor Supply, and local supporters are encouraged to take part in the annual fundraiser that directly benefits the Dale County 4-H program. For a small donation at checkout, shoppers can purchase a paper Clover to display in the store — with every dollar raised staying local to support youth projects, competitions, and community activities.
Melissa Voynich of the Dale County Extension Office emphasized how vital the annual fundraiser is for local clubs. “The paper clovers are at the registers of Ozark Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply is our only Paper Clover partner, and they are very generous to us each year,” Voynich said. “You can ask for the clovers when you are making any other purchase, and they are only available until Dec. 14. The clovers sold in Ozark go to our Ozark Dale County 4-H clubs.
“It is important to support our programs because we run on donations to do what we do. We generate no profit, but we still need supplies and want to provide opportunities to our kids. This is one way to support us while going out in the community for your other Tractor Supply needs!”
The Clover Campaign has become one of the most important fundraisers of the year for 4-H, helping ensure that students across Dale County have access to hands-on learning opportunities. From science and robotics to livestock care, leadership development, and community service, 4-H offers programs that help young people build real-world skills and confidence. Funds raised through the sale of the Clovers help cover project materials, classroom supplies, travel costs for competitions, and the expansion of new programs.
While 4-H has roots dating back more than a century, the organization continues to evolve to meet the needs of today’s youth. It now reaches more than six million young people nationwide through school programs, after-school clubs, camps, and community-based groups. Its mission remains focused on developing the “Head, Heart, Hands, and Health” of every participant through practical, engaging, and meaningful activities.
In Dale County, 4-H remains a thriving part of the community, offering students experiences ranging from public speaking and STEM projects to agriculture, cooking, environmental studies, and service work. Local volunteers and extension agents work year-round to support these efforts — and the Clover sales at Tractor Supply play a crucial role in keeping the program strong.
Shoppers can purchase a Clover at the Daleville, Ozark, and neighboring Tractor Supply locations now through Dec. 14. Each sale directly fuels opportunities for local youth, making it one of the simplest ways to invest in the next generation of leaders.
