OZARK — The Dale County Sheriff’s Office is inviting local families to bring their children so they can cast a line later this month as it hosts its Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, April 25.
The event is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is open to children aged 15 and under. It will take place at the Dale Medical Surgery Center, providing a morning of outdoor fun and community engagement for young anglers.
According to an announcement from the Sheriff’s Office, registration is now open, and families are encouraged to sign up in advance using the online form. Organizers say the rodeo is designed to give children an opportunity to enjoy fishing in a safe, family-friendly environment while building relationships with local law enforcement.
In addition to the event itself, the Sheriff’s Office is offering official Youth Fishing Rodeo T-shirts. Officials are encouraging families to purchase shirts in advance, noting that orders must be placed by Monday, April 13.
The annual rodeo has become a popular community tradition in Dale County, drawing families from across the area for a morning of fishing, prizes, and fellowship.
