The opening reception for the “Inspired by Creation” art exhibition is this weekend at the Rudd Art Center/Dowling Museum. Everyone who appreciates art is invited to attend the reception on Sunday, October 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Featuring a diverse range of artists working with various media, this exhibition will be judged, with cash prizes awarded to the winning artists. The exhibit, which will be featured from October 18 through November 21, is free and open to the public. The Rudd Art Center is located at 144 E Broad Street in Ozark.
Attention artists: The Dale County Council for the Arts and Humanities will also have a live figure drawing session on Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m. until noon. Artists who are interested in practicing their live drawing skills are invited to attend. You must bring your own art supplies and they ask for a $10 donation for the model.
