ENTERPRISE—A house party intended to be a joyful event turned tragic Saturday night in Enterprise. Two individuals suffered gunshot wounds and another person was injured in an assault following a disturbance, according to the Enterprise Police Department.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. on June 13, 2026, officers with the Enterprise Police Department responded to a residence in the 1800 block of County Road 721 after receiving reports of shots fired.
Police said officers had previously responded to the same residence earlier in the evening due to noise complaints related to a house party being held at the location.
Upon arriving after reports of gunfire, officers located two victims at the scene. According to police, one victim had sustained injuries from an assault, while a second victim had suffered a gunshot wound. During the investigation, officers learned that a third victim had also sustained a gunshot wound and had transported themselves to a hospital for treatment.
Preliminary information released by the Enterprise Police Department indicates that several fights broke out among individuals at the residence, ultimately resulting in shots being fired.
The incident prompted a significant law enforcement response. Emergency dispatch communications monitored by the Dale County Chronicle indicated that responding officers requested assistance from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and Alabama State Troopers as authorities worked to secure the scene and assess the situation.
Earlier dispatch traffic suggested that at least one male victim had been shot. The Enterprise Police Department has since confirmed that two individuals sustained gunshot wounds during the incident.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims, nor have they provided information regarding the extent of their injuries. No arrests have been announced in connection with the shooting.
The Enterprise Police Department Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is actively investigating the incident. Officials stated that no further information will be released at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
