ARITON — Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of U.S. Highway 231 and Alabama Highway 51 several miles outside Ariton on Monday.
According to initial reports from the dispatch call, one woman sustained what appeared to be a leg injury. Authorities indicated there was no entrapment involved and no rollover was reported at the scene.
Emergency personnel responded and assessed those involved, though additional details about the extent of injuries and the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
