Mission: Worthy is partnering with the W.C. Autrey Center to make sure everyone can enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal this week as they prepare to host their Wiregrass Community Thanksgiving event on Nov. 26.
The community gathering will begin at 11:30 a.m. at 749 W. Reynolds Street in Ozark, and they will provide a free holiday meal and an afternoon of fellowship, gratitude, and community connection. Organizers say the event is open to everyone—whether attending with family, friends, or on your own—and emphasize that “there’s a seat at the table just for you.”
While the meal is free, Mission: Worthy is asking attendees to register in advance to help ensure enough food and supplies are prepared for all who plan to attend. TO REGISTER FOR THE FREE MEAL, contact Mission: Worthy at (334) 545-0590 or email them at [email protected].
Organizers say they will also be distributing groceries at the event and say an ID is required to collect the bagged groceries but the ID is not required to dine at the community Thanksgiving. There will also be clothing available to those who are in need.
