OZARK–The Dowling Museum/Ann Rudd Art Center in Ozark is inviting local artists to participate in its upcoming Membership Showcase, an exhibit designed to highlight original works created by members of the Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH).
The showcase is open to DCCAH members ages 18 and older, who may submit up to three original works for display at no additional cost. Unlike many exhibitions, the Membership Showcase is strictly for display purposes and will not include judging or awards.
Acceptable entries include paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, three-dimensional pieces, mixed media, and photography. Organizers note that AI-generated artwork will not be accepted for the exhibition.
Artists must hold a paid DCCAH membership to participate, which allows them to submit up to three pieces for consideration. Not a member? No worries! A membership form is included below for your convenience. You can either print it out or visit the link to the original form. Membership fees may be paid in cash or by check made payable to the Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities and are non-refundable.
To ensure variety in the gallery, submitted works must not have been exhibited at the center within the past three years. Artwork should also be properly prepared for display. Pieces intended for hanging must be framed and ready to hang. Art and photography — excluding paintings and mixed media — must be framed under glass or plexiglass. There is no size limit for submissions.
The Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities announced the Membership Showcase will run from March 14 through April 24, 2026, at the Ann Rudd Art Center.
The Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities operates the Ann Rudd Art Center, located at 144 East Broad Street in Ozark. The nonprofit organization is recognized as a 501(c)(3), and contributions to the group are tax-deductible.
